My Little Reader- The Trend Continues

Remember this post about my little reader? Well, he still is!

"Hi Dor Dor!"

Javen loves our two fish, Dorothy and Chachi. He waves hello and points to them with a huge smile on his face many times a day, every day. Yesterday he started saying "Hi" to them, and calls Dorothy by name, "Dor Dor."

My son, the genius baby, can say the name of his pet fish. 

He has yet to say "Mama."

I'm so proud.

I took a cute video today of Javen saying hello to our fish, Dorothy.  Stay tuned...and prepare to say "awww, he's so cute!" :)

New Year with Friends

New Year's weekend was a blast in our house. Our friends came down for a visit from Greenville. We played at the park, hung out at the house and had some playtime with the Tellers. Such a fun weekend!

Javen watched Daddy swing across the rings and was instantly interested in trying them out for himself. What a big boy! (I think this is my new favorite photo of him!)

Happy New Year!

It's been a busy month! My family came to visit the week before Christmas and Javen had a blast with everyone here. He thought his life turned into a daily party, playing with his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncle all day every day. After they left we packed up the CRV and drove up to Illinois to be with Jake's family the week of Christmas. Javen was so fun. He didn't care much for opening the gifts, but he loved climbing on the boxes and ripping the bows off. Once the packages were open he was ready to play! He got so many new toys that I think we need to move to a bigger house now!

We celebrated New Year's at home. Javen and I went to bed at our normal times and I think Jake watched the ball drop and the neighbors shoot off fireworks. Now our good friends, the Zbinden's are here for a few days to hang out. Javen LOVES watching and playing with Kara, who is three. I'm having trouble with the computer again so my photos aren't downloading. It's frustrating! Here is one photo from Christmas that Jake's mom emailed me though...enjoy!
